Skipton Open Studios 2013

Skipton Open Studios 2013 celebrated the wealth of talented artists and makers in Jersey. In its sixth year, Skipton Open Studios 2013 launched on Friday 21st June with an exhibition at Weighbridge Place, St Helier. 2013 saw the highest number of visitors to studios in the event's history with 15,394 to studios and the shipping container exhibition at Weighbridge Place.

Jersey has a wealth of artistic talent and Skipton Open Studios gives Islanders and visitors the chance to discover the diversity in the visual arts. Skipton Open Studios attracts local household names such as Ian Rolls, Nick Romeril and Jason Butler, but also serves as a great opportunity to those artists starting out. The event allows visitors to studios to learn about and meet Jersey's artists in informal surroundings, whether or not they had a prior interest or knowledge in a particular art form.
